Extend Demo Manual
The "Extend Demo Manual" (in the Extend 3.0 Demo folder) is a Word file that contains an explanation on simulation in general, a short tutorial on model building in Extend, and descriptions of the Sample Models included with this demo.
About This Demo Version
This is a demonstration package of Extend, Extend+BPR, and Extend+Manufacturing. The examples and libraries included in this demo are subsets of what are included in the full packages. For more information concerning which libraries of blocks are included in which package (Extend, Extend+BPR, and Extend+Manufacturing), see the "Libraries" chapter of this document.
System 7 Compatibility
Extend, Extend+BPR, and Extend+Manufacturing are System 7 friendly. This means that they run under Apple's System 7 and support System 7 features such as Publish & Subscribe, Balloon Help, Virtual Memory, 32-bit addressing, and TrueType fonts. If you use System 6 rather than System 7, you can still use Extend, Extend+BPR, and Extend+Manufacturing – you just will not be able to use the System 7 features.
